UPDATE: I managed to fix the problem with PDF export by selecting the option in the exporter to use PDF/A-1a. He didn't have time to remake it properly on such short notice, so he just worked with it.

I do not know if Helvetica is a system font or not, but I don't think that should matter. I tried to do a pdf print from open office, but theres no pdf button in the print menu when I tell it to print, keep in mind also, that I do not have a printer currently so I can't use the print to file option.
